About YCWL
Youth Crime Watch of Liberia is an accredited youth organization established in 2004 to help
address the need for grassroots participation in nation building, following the civil conflict,
which nearly decimated the population. Youth Crime Watch of Liberia is dedicated to fighting
illiteracy and promoting reconciliation, reconstruction, peace, development and better and
healthier lifestyles in Liberia through crime prevention, youth empowerment and youth employment.
Currently, we are present in almost every part of Monrovia and are fast growing throughout the
country. We run series of youth development and empowerment programs aimed at making youth
productive. We believe that youth become more productive when they have skills to be marketable.
Our youth programs range from training to scholarship. We have intern programs for youth who go
through our training and counseling programs. If you are looking for a community of productive
and pro-active youth who are in the fore front to helping Liberia be a better place for all,
Youth Crime Watch of Liberia is the NAME!
We receive young people from all over the world to volunteer their services and benefit from
all of our different programs. If you wish to contact us, you may do so at info@ycwliberia.org.
